Brisbane Pool Inspections, Logan Pool Inspectors

Pool Safety

What we do, and Why

The codified Pool Safety Standard introduced by the Queensland Government on 01 December 2010 requires all residential and shared pools to be safety inspected and compliance certified, with newly built pools, property sales and tenancies impacted immediately.

Current home owner/occupiers with existing pools have until 30 November 2015 to comply with the new laws, unless the property is sold or tenanted.

POOLSAFE INSPECTIONS brings over 20 years aquatic safety experience to every pool inspection. To ensure the highest professional standards, every Poolsafe Inspection is conducted by a team of two licensed inspectors who each carry Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance that is well in excess of the statutory requirement.

POOLSAFE INSPECTIONS guarantees prompt, efficient and friendly service at a competitive rate. Our team is committed to being with you every step of the way, offering expert and practical advice to ensure your pool safety compliance is achieved with the minimum of fuss.

POOLSAFE INSPECTIONS has compiled a helpful pool safety checklist of common easily rectified non compliant issues. We also offer specific, pre-inspection advice. Just email photos of any areas of concern and a qualified inspector will review your enquiry and respond promptly.

Pool Safe inspections have maintained a strong background in aquatic safety for over 20 years and in addition to our Pool Safety Inspection licenses we are also qualified as Workplace Trainers and Assessors for Royal Life Saving Society Queensland and train and assess swim teachers as course presenters for AUSTSWIM. Each swimming pool inspection is performed by a team of two licensed Inspectors. In this way a thorough and efficient service is provided at rates less than our major competitors.

Our commitment is for our team to be with you every step of the way and to offer expert and practical advice to ensure pool inspections compliance with a minimum of fuss. Every pool fence has its individual characteristics. Feedback from our Inspectors has identified a number of non compliance issues that can be simply rectified prior to inspection.

Pool Safe Inspections have compiled a pool safety checklist of these common issues to assist with a smooth inspection. We can also provide specific, free pre-inspection advice. Just email photos of any areas of concern and your contact number. A licensed Inspector will review your inquiry and respond promptly.

Following the commissioning of a detailed study by the Queensland Government in consultation with industry, water safety groups and the community, tough new laws came into effect from 1 December 2010 that affect all privately owned swimming pools in the State, both commercial and residential.

The purpose of the legislation is to reduce the number of drowning and immersion injuries in private swimming pools which involve young children. Legislative changes include the widening of swimming pool safety laws, improved pool fencing standards, registration of swimming pools and mandatory on-going pool safety inspections.

The Pool Safety Council is tasked with administering the new safety laws, and a new license class was established for registered Pool Safety Inspectors.

Because the procedural and technical requirements are often complex, we have provided links to relevant Government sites and developed an easy to use checklist to help identify common non-compliance issues.

In addition we offer obligation free advice to help navigate the legislation with a minimum of fuss.
